how does the state daycare assitance work for the providers? and how long does...

...it take to get paid ? i am watching a 8 year old monday thru friday, 8 hours a day, but since she is a single mother she cant afford to pay me more then 40 dollors a week, if she gets help from the state how does it work for me ?
