Will biotechnology companies usually pay for you to get your masters and doctorate?

I am interested in biomedical research and biotechnology, but I know that many jobs in this area require doctorates. Can you get a job with a company after college and then go for your higher degrees with their financial support? If not, how do most people pay for all of these things?
