www.moneybookers.com, are they reliable? buyer protection?

I won an item on ebay and the seller only want to recieve payment in form *via* moneybookers.com... i know paypal offers both buyers and seller protection.. .however, if the person is trying to cheat me... what can i do to protect myself? thanks for looking and any information will be greatly appreciaed.
