With a paypal personal account can I receive money?

With a paypal personal account (the free account)...can I use it to receive money?

Yes you can!!!! You must have a checking or credit card to do so...the simplest way is through e-mailing

yes you can but there's a limit as to how much you can receive per month. i believe it's $500 USD or the equivalent if from other countries. also, if you're going to accept debit/credit card payments, you will be charged a transaction fee as a "personal account" holder. usually paypal will offer the opportunity for you to upgrade to a premier account which is free to avoid the fees of receiving money.

for more info, log into your paypal account. click on the "help" link in the top right corner. from there, click on "personal accounts" which is under "paypal basics and benefits."
