What should i do to improve my stock trading skills?

I have done my set of research, gotten free information for different sites sent directly to my email, watched videos on youtube.

I'm currently working with 100 shares and working with BAC, GG, T.

I'm normally making $5-$10 per day, the problem is that i'm not sure if i picked the correct stocks and which ones are easier to use because my trading style is scalping.

I have MOT but once i'm reading the stock i place a bid and then it turns around and actually i end up losing $3.00, because the stock moves horribly slow.

Please advice
