What engine came stock in a 1985 Peterbilt 359 when it was brand new?
I'm working on a screenplay about a guy who does some restoration work on an '85 Pete 359 with 2 million miles on it. I've been checking this out on the Internet, and I've seen this model Pete with a 400 Cat in it and another with a 400 Cummins. You never can tell if this is a second engine or what, though, in a 23-year-old truck. I kinda need to know as it will have bearing on the story. Anybody have any ideas?
