What trading software should i use to watch live stock market?

Im here at Canada. Im wondering if there's any free softwares that I can use to watch the TSX stock market, or I can even trade on it, which will be even better.

Im a finance student learning stocks in my spare time. Anybody can help me? And give the link to that free software? thanks.

Don't know about free, but if you have an online brokerage acct they probably do.. I know charles schwab does.

You don't need any programs unless you are planning on day trading and need up-to-the second streaming information. 20 minute delay will be fine for your purposes since you won't likely check it more than a few times a day anyway.

www.investopedia.com will let you make a fantasy stock portfolio and watch it.... no real money involved, you just make an account and use pretend money, great experience to know if you are ready yet or not for the real thing. If you want more specifics let me know.

If you just want to watch a stock but not get knee-deep into the actual trading experience, you can just use a website. go to tsx.com, or my favourite that I use is bigcharts.com. Just type in the symbol and it will bring up the chart.

I'm from Canada too and I'm a college student that just started trading stocks a year or 2 ago so I know what you need to do. If you have any more questions I can try to help you out.
