It is true that an MBA Finance would be in lesser demand than a Chartered Accountant - but only if you plan on a career in accounting. Since the CA is a government granted license, they have authority to sign certain types of documents and tax returns and therefore companies will always want to hire them.
However, a Finance degree isn't really geared towards accounting anyway, but moreso to investing, banking, and internal management accounting (as opposed to external reporting for the stock exchange etc, which a CA would do) Marketing and HR are both decent, and much easier than finance:P If there is a Management option, I would choose that. And, there's no reason you can't become a Chartered Accountant after you graduate. If it is the same as the U.S. CPA then it's simply a matter of passing the exams and possibly taking a few extra tax classes on top of your MBA coursework in finance.
