I want to be able to teach elementary kids or high school kids the importance...

...of personal finance? for example... my experience was that I went through such a difficult time learning how to manage my money wisely and efficiently. I never knew the purpose of credit and loans and I feel it is essential for children to learn this from the get go just so we avoid further debt in our society.

How can i be able to start up a program for children and high school kids?

If you are a teacher there is one type of answer.

Speak to your principal and see if either a separate class can be arranged or a topic included in an already existing class can be inserted. Be prepared to indicate what should be eliminated.

The Superintendent and more particularly the school board can determine the curriculum. It can also be done through the state commissioner of education or the state legislature which has the authority to legislate for the schools. You may want to enlist the support of local legislators, parents associations and education professional associations.
