Which Online Savings Accounts offer the best rates?
I'm looking for a competitive rate but I also want quick/easy access to my money, should an emergency arise. Help.
Currently I'm looking at HSBC Washington Mutual Bank of America 4 month CD

ING direct is currently at 4.15% for deposits, no minimums. 4.6% for $50K or more. 6 month CD currently at 4.7% Savings rates fluctuate, trend is down lately, of course. I've been with ING for 5 years and have no complaints. Very fast transfers, in and out.

A CD does not offer penalty-free "quick/easy access to my money, should an emergency arise".
Bank of America is notorious for not honoring the terms of its agreements with new account holders. They charge fees that they have agreed not to charge and they fail to pay money that they have agreed to pay. I have no opinion on the other banks that you mention.
