For Tax Appraisal purposes, how do you find out how much properties in your area...

...have sold for recently.? Property Taxes in Texas? I recieved my Notice of Appraised Value for my home, and I am in the process of preparing my protest for my County Appraisal District hearing. I would like to show the amounts that houses in my subdivision have sold for since they use that information to justify raising my taxes.
