I would LOVEEEEE to do this.... i always watch HGTV and think it looks like so much fun!

BUT these days the housing market is TERRIBLE!! Its definitely a BUYER's Market out there, NOT a Seller's. So... I would NOT put all your eggs in this basket... Sorry!

Maybe you can do it as a side thing, if you have the money and be prepared to lose... its not as easy as it looks on Tv! Lol..

House flipping can be a good career if you use your head. You MUST keep to your budget, and stay on schedule. Try to talk to people in your area who have flipped houses or talk to real estate agents about what is selling in your area. It's easy to start the remodel and get carried away with stuff that you'll never get your money back on. MAKE SURE you have a home inspection before closing so you have some idea of the problems that you might encounter. Not all of them will be visible, so keep that in mind when planning your spending budget. Remember that kitchens and baths sell the house. Swimming pools etc. do not.

It's only good if you have the capital to invest, know a lot about the market, and have another income to fall back on if something goes wrong. You will not make money on every flip.
