What is the definition of 'Real Estate' ?

I am looking for an authentic constitutionally/ legally supported definition of 'Real Estate'.
The words real and estate, individually, are well defined and understood.
But together as 'Real Estate'??
Do we have something like 'Unreal Estate' also?

No, turkey. "Real Estate" is differentiated from "chattel", which derives from the old English word for cattle, meaning personal property. Real estate means land or anything permanently affixed to the land. "Permanently affixed" means you cannot just pick it up and walk off with it. A cow is personal property because you can lead it away, so is a house trailer, because you can tow it off the lot.
