Are you an estate agent? How many properties have you sold in the past 30 days, uk?

The agent i talked to today told me that they have sold no properties at all this month and this is in Middlesborough where there are hundreds of properties for sale for less than 60k

I'm not in real estate, but I do know with the economy the way it is, homes are being foreclosed on. Excuse me, but where is Middlesborough ?

They'll tell you house prices can't crash cause it's supply and demand innit, and theres limited houses to people.

However it's now supply and demand with mortgages - fewer mortgages = prices have to crash.

WOOT.... WOOT... WOOT - in your face Krusty Allsopp.

Slightly off the subject I'm afraid, but Kicker, you said you were a conveyancer, so why would you be surveying houses ? That is a totally different profession! Conveyancing is the legal process of transferring a house from one owner to another, dealing with the paperwork and finances involved in buying and selling properties.
The figures you give seem wild, if you did sell the figures you say you did, then I doubt very much if you would be on Yahoo, more likely floating about in your Porsche !!
Not impressed.
