MLM= Multi Level Marketing. Think Avon or Mary Kay or Tupperwear where somebody trys to sell you a product and then entice you into becoming part of their exclusive team so you too can enjoy the lifestyle they do and "fire your boss" (Always a good indication that your in MLM land). Trust me mate I got stiffed by one of these schemes once and never again.

It's Multi-Level Marketing like Amway and some others that try to get people underneath them to sell product and recruit others to do the same so everyone can supposedly make money off of everyone below them on their "down line".

It's 'multi-level-marketing'.
Otherwise known as a 'pyramid scheme'. It's ,basically, a sales organization that depends on recruiting new members. The people at the top make money off of those below them. Then those people make money off of those below them. Etc. etc. They 'act so rich' to lure new people into the scheme.

Multi-Level Marketing.
Multi-level marketing businesses function by enrolling unsalaried salespeople (also called by MLM companies as Distributors, Independent Business Owners, Franchise Owners, Sales Consultants, Consultants etc) to sell products and meanwhile earn additional sales commissions based on the sales of people enrolled into their downline, an organization of people that includes direct recruits, recruits' recruits and so on.
